A modern island oasis with an old soul.

The site is the former home of the well-loved Smith's Fancy, an island hideaway for artists and creatives in the 50's & 60's. Inspired by this and St Thomas' golden era of beach clubs and guest houses, the design draws from the historic archways and vintage atmosphere to create something both new and old.

On a winding street in the heart of historic Charlotte Amelie, the hotel on Crystal Gades will be the modern guest house that hopes to connect the community back to its visitors.
