Intermediate Architect / Project Architect
Isaac-Rae is looking for an Intermediate Architect / Project Architect to join our team. The role is for an experienced, detail-oriented, well-spoken individual who has the ability to work on multiple projects at once producing technical drawings, contributing thoughtful design details and creating client-facing presentations for commercial and residential work in NYC and the east end of Long Island.
Applicants must be willing/able to work at least 3 days per week in person from our North Fork studio located in Greenport, NY.

Requirements:
BArch or MArch degree from an accredited university
3+ years experience in project management for residential and commercial architecture
References from NY-based architecture firm(s)
Extensive experience with construction documents and details
Some understanding of local zoning and building codes a plus
Exceptional attention to detail as well as organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Revit
3D modeling 3dsmax, Rhino, Sketchup
3D Rendering in 3dsmax Vray3.xx or Corona
Strong intrapersonal skills and the ability to work with a close-knit small studio team balanced with the ability to work independently
Role Details:
Organizing multiple projects, including day to day management of clients, contractors and consultants from schematic design through to construction administration.
Plan, organize and produce deliverables for each project phase:
Schematic Design: Developing conceptual designs, 3d modeling, renderings, drawings, presentation decks;
Design Development: Renderings, models, detailed plans, interior elevations, presentation decks;
Construction Documentation: Detailed plans, elevations, sections & details, final renderings, schedules for plumbing, doors, windows, finishes, etc., updating and adding to project manuals, RFI management of bidding spreadsheets
Construction Administration: Ability to support the project in the field during construction, drafting weekly project reports and communicating with the larger team.
